Richard
Fulham is an emerging mixed
media artist from Quebec, Canada.
During the 1970-80-ties, he worked as a pottery-ceramist. During this
period he combines utilitarian productions and some particular
research on ceramic, that give as a final result, a very interesting
production of one of a kind pieces with special effects of texture and
color. We do not have any pictures of these works.
After a period of working in corporative marketing, he returns again
with energy to original artistic-production. During the second half of
1990ies, he has been working exclusively on a new stile of
collage-paintings.

The technique that Richard
Fulham uses is a mixture of collage and painting in an imaginary
impressionistic stile.
The collage outlines are hidden in paint, giving an impression of a
digital imagine.
A good example of his work is "
L'or des fous" from the year 2000 on display in the ArtNetGallery.
You observe directly by looking at the picture, that Richard Fulham
is an artist who controls his technique, both with a balance in color
and giving you lots of impressions.

By looking at the latest
works by Richard Fulham, you get the feeling in some of the
works you are looking at have an uneven surface that reminds you of
shining ceramic pottery. This is maybe a heritage from his early
artistic work, which is giving new expression in another media. The
mixing of colors and textures is unique.
A good example of this is
"Au
dessus des cigognes" from last year and also on display in the ArtNetGallery.

These unique works will
give grate pleasure to anyone and constantly give new impressions and an
aha-feeling. Although these works remind you of digital images,
they still are unique and should never be compared with the mass
production of digital images.
