Richard Fulham
was born in Verdun (Quebec) 1951. He studied Fine Arts at the Vieux-Montreal College and
Ceramics at the Julien studio in Quebec.
From 1977 to 1989 Richard has worked as a pottery-ceramist. During this period he combines
utilitarian productions and some particular research on Ceramics, that give as a final
result, a very interesting production of one of a kind pieces. Colours and textures are
part of his research at this moment. He also participated in many solo and group
exhibitions. During this period he was noticed as an original artist whose work is in
constant progression. During the next few years, he was
active in the Arts and Crafts division, working on a larger scale in the corporative
markets. Thereafter Richard returns with energy to his artistic production. For more than
5 years now he has been working exclusively on a production of collage-paintings. The
works that you see in this site show all the determination of an artist who controls
his technique than creating nothing else than an imaginary impression. |
